  1. Welcome and Introductions
  2. HMP RFP – Grant was submitted June 4, 2007, expect to hear results by August 1, 2007.
  3. PPHC Structure
    • Required to meet bi-monthly – set up annual meeting schedule beginning in September.
    • Discuss meeting options (Executive Steering Committee/HMP Action Team) separate vs. joint
    • Addition of One - 40 Hour per week PPHC Staffing Position
    • Do we need to Revise Name – Based on Coverage Area?
    • Do we need to Revise Bylaws?
    • Review/Revise/Approve “Mission Statement, Strategic Goals, Essential Services, & Values
    • Review Workplan
    • Policy Development
      1. A formal written procedure to report local public health enforcement issues to the appropriate officials as the PPHC becomes aware of such situations.
      2. A formal written procedure to collaborate in alerting communities and appropriate public health officials to possible health threats and disease outbreaks and implement as appropriate.
